Default Burning sensation and collapsing

Can anyone offer me any guidance on my undiagnosed condition. I get a burning sensation between my ribs and hip on my back to the lefthand side, this is accompanied by a feeling down either both of my legs (or can be just the left leg) which is like somebody pouring moulten metal down them. Immediately my knees give way, when they do this they always move to the left. During this the muscles in the outside of my thighs tense to make a concave effect on my thighs. The exact timing of the muscle tensing is difficult to gauge as it gets lost in the pains that I get.
When I can eventually get back on my feet, I have loss of sensation which gives me a feeling of very heavy legs but I cannot feel whether my feet are on the floor or not at anytime.
