Default CRPS & Sleeping

Does anyone have or know someone who has CRPS? My boyfriend has this and I'm trying to research and learn. He is lucky to get 3 hours of sleep a night and then after a few weeks/months, his body almost gives out and he sleeps for 3-4 days straight & only wakes up for a meal. Does anyone else experience this sleep pattern?

Hello,
I have CRPS (all four extremities, back, and partial neck and scalp) and I also have crazy sleep problems where I am a complete insomniac and then I go thru periods where I sleep 16-22 hours a day for a day to nearly a week! No doctor has been able to say for certain as to why, or if connected to crps, fibromyalgia, or ??? I am still trying to find out why myself. If I learn something I will share it and could you do the same? It is a horrible problem because I miss out on what little life I do have.

Good luck!

Hello bleu ballerina

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

If you click on that link that mrsD left in the post above yours it'll take you to our Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD and CRPS) Forum.

I'm sure that other members there would be experiencing similar issues as you.
