Default I find this Coconut Oil and Brain Study Too Important

I use CO in everything, cooking, eat off spoon, make my own toothpaste, drip on fresh cooked veggies....you name it. Now I'm thinking I'm doing more good than I realized:

Cool Smirk

Caroline,

Could I ask you to please be careful with your use of non-standard abbreviations, it can be very confusing. This is a case in point, CO is Carbon Monoxide, and that is what I thought the brain study was about.

Dave.

I thought CO = Colorado at first... but that didn't make much sense..

It would help to write things out in the titles & first post...so everyone knows what is being mentioned.. Some won't click every link without more info before hand..
This is a world wide site and not all abbreviations are the same or mean the same thing around the world..

I changed the thread title to avoid confusion here.

I just read more on this Coconut Oil and brain and it's not new. I had not heard of it. Read some info/blogs from Mayo Clinic and also from Dr. Mary Newport who treated her husband with Coconut oil for his health conditions. I don't know who is interested, but it interests me. Dr. Newport is mentioned in the link I posted above.

We use organic coconut oil to make popcorn. And we found organic popcorn kernels. I put a tiny amount of organic butter on top and a tiny amount of pink Himalayan salt on top. Honestly, it is the best popcorn we have ever had in our life...even though we are using very small amounts of the "extras," it tastes robust and VERY flavorful.

I mostly eat my veggies raw, but am starting to put the coconut oil on cooked veggies.

It's really delicious.

Vowel Lady, when I make popcorn, it's with CO and I use Him Sea Salt too. I've studied and talked about CO for many years and I'm more enthused than ever with the brain info. I use olive oil and rice vinegar for my salads but otherwise CO for everything else. First learned about CO via Weston Price chapter meetings in our city. Price is huge in CO and healthy oils. Take care.
