Default Neurology or what

Well I am new here but excited for help and opinions. I will make a very long undiagnosed problem very short. For 1 year and 4 months I have been having brain fog and weight loss and neck pain. Approximately July 07 I had a very hard fall on my left side in my driveway, then Oct. 07 is when my head problems and neck started. I have been to Er's worn heart monitors blood work by 4 different Drs. only thing showing up is around 300 in testosterone levels. One day while massaging my neck I felt a lump a little bigger than a golf ball on right side of upper spine and base of skull. This was x-rayed and then I went and had MRI done brain and neck with and without contrast. It is not conclusive but states some possible bulging discs in C5 C6 C7 areas and that further evaluation would be needed to determine if pressure from what is called soft tissue mass. Lower lumbar area from x-rays showed less space across from sacoriliac which may be mild impingement. Been to 3 different good Chiros now for a total of 28 treatments with no relief, this is where I am now the last Chiro has me to see a neurosurgeon this coming Wed. I now since last Oct. have been showing signs which started on left foot mild numbness which spread to left hand and arm nerves and now on right side as well to date. Nerves in arms are forearms inner tendon areas fingers etc.with feelings of sensitivity mild numbness and sometimes tingly. The spaciness of my head is considerably worse now as well. I am someone who takes great care of myself meaning I work out eat very well etc. My heart also palpitates from time to time I figured this could be from vagus or meridian nerve and some stress? This is bulk of my problem in a nutshell can elaborate more if needed. Thanks for any insights. chris 2475

I recently had surgery to fuse the C5-C6 vertebrae. It was the best thing I could have done because of my symptoms. Some of your symptoms can be attributed to the neck issues like mild numbness and tingly feeling. Also the foggy head feeling. On the others though I have no idea. It's a good thing that you are seeing a Neurologist soon. He/she will be able to give you some definitive answers about your MRI and any other tests that need to be performed for your nerve issues.
