Hi Bobbier,
Thank you so much for telling me that, I was feeling so weird about the feeling. And I know about breaking out in sweat like that.

The broken glass feeling is extremely painful. I've had that in my thigh.

Have you tried B12? the Methylcobalamin kind? I had really a lot of it when the pain in my thigh went away, and it hasn't totally gone away. When there's stress my thigh feels peculiar, and if I don't have a B12 shot the sunburn feeling begins, which is sort of how the pain starts. (I don't like using the shots, but at the same time they work well for me, are really cheap, and I understand pretty much exactly what to expect from them.)

If you try the Methylcobalamin, you may need to take quite a lot for there to be substantial difference. I had a shot a day for nearly two months before it was undeniable that the pain was better. I'd be so afraid it was going to come back, that I think I couldn't believe it was as much better as it was.

A shot a day is equal to about 6 of the 5 mg Methylcobalamin sublinguals.

I hope yours goes away. Especially if you have a little one!

Default Consider This

I stumbled on to this while doing a search and I wanted to ask you to post this on the Peripheral Neuropathy forum. It's hard to sort out all of these questions placed into other forums when you only have limited time every day.

Default Mold exposure was doing that to me..

I was really sick for years and peripheral neuropathy was just one of many, many things that were going on. Its improved tremendously. It turned out to be caused by mold exposure in my home.

Its worth looking into. Here's my thoughts on the neuropathy. IF its mold, you need to either get rid of it or get out of there. Don't assume its mold, it could be other things, but the mold could be the cause - at least it was for me. My feet and hands were constantly numb and cold. This went on for years. I still have a huge numb patch on my left leg and my hands and feet have much less feeling than they did before but at least they don't feel noticably numb like they did before. They don't feel like the skin on the surface is dead. Its been a gradual process.

Wear slippers and don't walk on the bare floor. Get fresh air. Even if its cold, fresh air is better than moldy air.

Try keeping windows open and blowing fresh air through your home 24/7 and see if it gets better over time. Do you have any other symptoms like headaches, extreme fatigue, ringing in your ears, muscle aches, etc? Especially after vaccuming, etc. Those are common other symptoms of mold causing your health problems. But the neuropathy is a difficult one to figure out because it doesnt come and go like some of the other symptoms do. Am I making any sense? As I said, this was just my experience, you also need to look at other possible causes. But doctors who should know about this don't. So what can you do? Read..

I found that n-acetylcysteine, alpha-lipoic acid and acetyl-l-carnitine also helped me a lot. I also was told that cholestyramine would help and it did. A lot.

But at the beginning as it pulled the toxins out of my body it felt almost like an exorcism because it makes all of the symptoms worse, but it ended up helping me a lot.
