Hey everyone well two days ago I began to get sweaty palms. My heart then began to start racing 162 beats per minute. I also had weird chest pain mostly to my left and a sore left shoulder. The chest pain felt like as if I had a chest cold but without the normal coughing n stuff. It just felt like that weird chest cold feeling. Anyway I went to the hospital and everything was fine apart from a high white blood cell which I was told by my gp just means I have a bacterial infection. So my question is, What kind of infection could it be and what are the signs and symptoms. Is fast heart beat, high white blood cell and a little bit of a fever signs of bacterial infection. Oh and I also have Benign Intracranial Hypertension although healing from it. I also have a gassy feeling in my stomach and my heart rate has gone down now but I still feel kinda of weird in the chest but no where near as much anymore and just yeah still feel not 100 percent

do you have any other symptoms or aches besides what you mentioned?
What kind of job do you do? Any neck tightness or arm & hand problems with the sore shoulder? If you have a desk or repetitive type of job, previous whiplash or other neck or head injury, I would wonder about possible Thoracic Outlet Syndrome {TOS}. Some of us get muscle spasms in the chest muscle that causes some of what you describe. If any of those apply here is our TOS forum where you ca learn more - http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum24.html But it also could be many other things or maybe just a odd bug.. ![]()
