Any past injuries to your head, neck or shoulders?
If so maybe ask for x rays or MRI , just to check that aspect. Head forward posture? Hunched shoulders? PT or Chiropractic evaluation if tight muscles or posture might be a factor. They can often do a check and refer to dr if imaging should be done.. Trigger points can refer pain & symptoms - like headaches..
