I am seeing some VERY familiar names on here (hi Lizard!!) I just wanted to give a short intro to those I do not know.

I am mom to Katelynn, aka KTBug. She is seven years old and was born with hydro. She was shunted when she was two days old. In 2007 her tubing slipped off of the shunt a mere 1mm and had to be reconnected. That is the only problem the shunt has ever given us! Thank goodness!

Right now we are dealing with precocious puberty which I have been told was common with hydro kids. Not quite sure I am buying that one yet. We are also trying to figure out why she is having so many headaches (2-3 per day). Her shunt is working like it is supposed to so we are investigating other possibilities right now.

I can't wait to start meeting everyone and become active on a hydro board again.

Anyway, I sense your enthusiasm in being here, so I don't have to tell you what a wonderful place this is!
I'm sorry about the challenges you are facing with your daughter's condition, but she's in 'good hands'.....
