Hi Kjarax, and welcome!
I have MS and don't usually take part in other forums here because I simply don't know enough about most other conditions but it looks to me as if you've been asking for help here for a while, and I can try to be of use with what limited know-how I have. So I found this in case you haven't seen it. It tells a little about VP shunts and what to expect: VP Shunts: How They Work, Risks, Benefits, and More And as Jomar said, searching through this forum for threads or posts dealing with VP shunts is a good idea.
