He has tried numerous prescribed and over-the-counter meds but to no avail. Has anyone out there had a similar experience and, if so, any suggestions on how to deal with it? Any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

I have had severe nausea before and after the shunts. The only thing that works for me is phenergen tablet or shot. You have to get by prescription, but it works fast.

Thanks so much, Larenda. We have not heard that one yet. I'll pass the info along. Much appreciated.

My son wants to know how long it has been since your last shunt surgery and if you are still experiencing the nausea or other symptoms. Thanks.
