Hi, I am new to this area of the forum. I usually post in the RSD/CRPS area, but since Topamax is a medication used for so many treatments I thought I might get some input here.
If you have used this medication, please describe any side effects you had, if they went away and if using Topamax was beneficial. I have been prescribed Topamax for nerve pain and migraine prevention. Waiting for worker's comp to approve the script. Thanks for any info!!

I've been taking Topamax for several years. It was prescribed for me to prevent mood swings. I haven't noticed it having any effect on my headaches, but that could be related to the dosage.
As to side effects, I do ot sweat! You must be very careful in the heat because of this. Drink plenty of water, do not get over heated. I also have problems with my memory. I hope you have good results with the medication. Marion Quote:
