Default Being Safe with Interactions

Hello! I am new to the forum. I am a 20 year old with hypothyroidism, hypogonadism, and adrenal fatigue. I know, strange. Doctors are still searching for the connection. I will most likely create a thread with my situation in the near future. For the time being though, I want to make sure that what I am taking is safe!

I take:
Synthroid- 75 micrograms
Androgel 1.62%- 2.5 milligrams
Multi-vitamin
Rhodiola- 240 milligrams
Sublingual Licorice Root Extract
Sublingual Pregnenolone- 10 milligrams.

These will all be taken in the morning. Any issues?

Thanks! And happy to be on the forum.

Welcome to NeuroTalk:

I hope your doctors know about your herbal supplements? And have given approval?

Here is a good checker online that will also check food and
herbal interactions:

http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.php

Plug your items into that list, and see what you come up with.

Hello mrsD! Thank you for your response. My doctor does know that I am taking the licorice root, but not the Rhodiola or Pregnenolone. Through what I have researched there isn't many interactions with Rhodiola. Pregnenolone is what I am worried about, chiefly. I haven't discussed usage with my doctor because it is so difficult to get ahold of him! So please, share your knowledge if you have any on these supplements and if they are safe. I will check the website, but mainly I don't use it as I worry some less commonly used drug combinations will not be logged.

Here is a monograph on pregnenolone:

Notice it is potentially not recommended for people using
other hormones, like your testosterone gel.

Rhodiola:

You do know that you should take your Synthroid on an empty stomach, so it can be absorbed properly?
