Default The good things about the patch!

I've been on the fentanyl patch since August of 2007. Because of my head injury, I used to be buckled over in pain. I would suffer all day! I am a grown man and I would wake up and try and fight back tears ... and loose! It was like I died and went to hell!! There is no damn way a person can heal and be expected to recover when they are being tortured by pain!!

Despite all the bad things that are posted here about the patch, I can tell you honestly that the Fentanyl patch has helped save my life! I am able to function and live comfortably because of it. I can coexist in a world with everyone else and I don't have to focus on grueling, wrenching pain. I've got about 1 year left in the healing process and I couldn't make it without the patch!

Thank God for Fentanyl!!

Exclamation I would like to point out...

That the current warnings for Fentanyl are NOT to discourage its use.

They are to promote the safe use of a drug, that can be harmful if handled
improperly. Even the discarded patches are dangerous to small children and pets.

Encouraging people to NOT APPLY HEAT when using them, or not to cut them, is just common sense to prevent injury.
