Well I am not sure about that dip thing but it seems to me that where my pain is the worst in my outer thigh that it is swollen there. Now, I am not sure if it is indeed swollen or if it only feels that way because it is numb. YOu know how your sense of feeling is off when a body part is numb? So, that dip thing is a new one to me. Do you think the nerve stuff happened as a result of the chiropractor? I went for a therapuetic massage the other day for my leg and it did help a bit. The shooting pains are not as bad although they are still there. I am going to go to the chiropractor again soon and see what she thinks. I know what you mean about not having insurance, I am in the same boat. I will post here how I feel after going to the CP again. Good luck.
