I've had epilepsy since childhood, got bad in my 40's and am on medication that now works apart from auditory sz and photophobic sz.
I've now got Myoclonus and there is nothing that seems to work. I don't want to mess with my medication because it's working well and I haven't had a sz for such a long time now. But this myoclonus is a real pain. and it is affecting my whole body, arms, legs, torso, neck and head; even my hands and fingers. For instance my fingers will hit buttons twice or my wrist will jerk and come down hard on the keyboard. I take Tegretol, Neurontin, tiniest dose of xanax (for anxiety & panic disorder) I was wondering if I increased the neurontin and xanax (through my GP of course not on my own decision), if it would have any effect? Any help is appreciated, Cheers, Rhian
