Hey Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has skeleto/neural damage to joints like ankles because of dystonia. If anyone has , give me a note. Thanks |

Hi Grace, I get severe spasming, dystonia in my legs and ankles. My feet extend and invert to about 90 degrees. I haven't developed any permanent damage to the ankle joints yet.
I have however, torn the cartilage in my right hip. The MRI showed the torn labral cartilage, tendinitis and bursitis. Because I'm disabled and have limited mobility, I have just assumed the damage has been caused by the spasms/dystonia because I'm pretty certain I didn't injure it doing athletics. ![]() |

My ankle is affected on the outside muscle due to my foot turning in. I will be going to an ankle specialist at Emory in January. I too, am disabled from the dystonia.
I do hope you feel better and it lets up some. I will pray for you. |
