Default Opexa reports additional favorable data with Tovaxin for MS

Further analysis of TERMS Phase IIb data shows that 85% of patients treated with Tovaxin responded favorably, 16% showing actual and sustained improvement in disability

One of our members, Av8rgirl, was in the trials. Here's hoping she might come back and give us an update and let us know what she knows about future trials of Tovaxin!

I think they stopped the trials, because of the lack of funds? I hope this good news gets them funded again.

Cheryl, time to report in to Mommy again..

Opexa is telling us nothing. Absolutely nothing. We are not allowed to call them nor our trial coordinators. We have found out more by reading the press releases.

When Novartis purchased the stem cell trademark rights from Opexa the rumors starting flying that Opexa was going to have enough funding to restart the Open Label clinical trials for Tovaxin again. It would only be open to those of us who had not restarted any therapy during the interim. When some of us, me included, contacted our previous trial site coordinators, I was told that she knew nothing about any trials being restarted and when and if they did, she would be in contact with me. To date, I have heard nothing.

Since I have also not been contacted in 2 years, I don't know where Opexa is getting the information to continue to release information about trial participants. Interesting information.

I don't know who they are following, but it isn't me.
