There is new information that Statins do not help with remyelination issues. (infact they can destroy myelin). This study is on the MS forum here.

We have many posts about statins on the forums. PN, Medications, Parkinson's etc. If you search each forum, you'll see what I mean. The evidence against them, is growing and showing daily that they are basically toxic. Many doctors now are embracing the new data on statins, and I think we will see their use decline in the future.
