Yep. Me too, Barb. I describe them as my "internal tremors" opposed to the external tremors I get it my hands. It happens mostly in the morning for me though.

So I guess I am not unusual at all. shoot, I thought I was unique! Neuro told me to cut back on baclofen by one pill to see if it helps for one week. Although he also mentioned that he doubted that it would.

Before I even knew I had a disease, I used to wake up in the mornings thinking I had experienced a little earthquake.

After a few times, it finally occurred to me that nothing else was shaking, just ME!

Still, it didn't know it was a symptom of anything.


Ignorance was bliss. *sigh

Well cutting back on the baclofen has not helped. I am experiencing the shaking or tremors most of the time. Are these really internal tremors or is it just a sensory issue? I am waiting to hear back from neuro's nurse. I am having trouble sleeping (bed feels like it is shaking) and at times feel as though the ground is shaking when I am walking. I have also been sitting down while teaching.

I'm so sorry, Barb. It sounds like you may be having an attack of sorts. Seeing your Neuro is a good idea.

Barb - I'm so sorry. I do have vibration sensations as well as tremors. Although, my tremors are sometimes visible. While they are not painful, they sure can be annoying. I am glad you called the neuro about it. Let us know what they say and how you are doing.

I actually think mine improved with more Baclofen. I attributed it to the spasticity. The nerve responses get excitable with spasticity, so it made sense to me that my muscles could feel like they are vibrating. It usually affected me the most when I went to bed. It felt like they were trying to calm down from being used too much. I pictured a bungee cord that is under pressure and when released it bounces (vibrates) until it comes to a stop.
