Confused Vacation Flare Up?

I just returned from a short vacation. Totally relaxing, non-stressful (except for getting lost in new places-lol). Only a 2 hour flight from home. Seems as if I got plenty of rest, but I came home just feeling awful.

This was my first trip since dx and I don't know if it was just the change in climate, temp, latitude, etc. The first three days were wonderful! Absolutely symptomless. I felt great and energized. Then the day before we left the weather turned chilly, breezy and overcast. I had a very mild sinsusitis attack, which is now mostly gone (only lasted two days--a new personal record recovery) but I'm exhausted, my chest is tight (last night I felt I couldn't catch my breath), I'm nauseous, my legs are weak, and I'm using my cane.

Is this 'normal' when traveling or is it just a coincidental flare?

I leave again for an overnight trip this coming Saturday, returning Sunday. Although it will cost me, I'm thinking of canceling for fear of getting worse. I have two more days to recover, but I'm afraid I will feel this way again on my return. Any input???

Could be from the travel or could be from the sickness. There really is no telling with this stupid disease.

Well I hope it's coincidence and not from flying. I have a 26 hour flight booked next year and i'm already dreading it. And another 26 back again.
Though we do have premium seats, not cattle class...

hope you feel better soon.

I just returned from a 2 1/2 week vacation. I am tired from the travel back, but I don't think it is the MS. Scuba dove my remaining brains out , 26 hours out, 28 hours back, should recover in a couple of weeks. Went to a new country, Palau, and a return to Chuuk. A trip to remember, so it was worth it.

My vote is on your sinus thing. but if you had not had that, I would say the location could trigger you to feel worse. Someplaces, I feel worse, some better.

And also stress - even good stress is stress (fun, laughing, being excited, happy).

You get more tired on vacation because you don't realize you're wearing yourself out.
