Default MRI comparison taking a month??

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else before...
I had an MRI a month ago at a new radiologist group. They had to obtain my old MRI from another group in order to make the comparison. I'm not sure why it's been my job to do so, but I've been trying to hunt down my results for what seems to be forever!
Is it just me or is this totally unreasonable?!
