saw my older neuro this week. Told him I have been walking about a mile a day. He said "walking is for wimps! get up, get off your fanny and move, wiggle and strengthen that core muscle." I wanted to slap him. I said "my weight is good, and I am gaining stamina. I am kinda proud of myself. maybe a cheer would get me moving forward instead of a razz." he said "bah! get up! get out! NH is beautiful in fall, get out and enjoy it." now, I get his idea, and his point, but what a curmudgeon. I felt deflated after seeing him, and I was feeling proud of myself, and encouraged before hand. He does have a point, I need to step up my game, but dang!

I walked a mile this morn.
