If you can afford the electric, get what i'm looking into which is a thermostat with humidity control that kicks heat AND a/c on at same time. I have to call mauf. of my air handler and see if it can handle it. Humidistat it might be called. A/C dries the air, heat warms it back up. Your bill will be double.
