Hello there, just trying this out and I wanted to drop a question in here. I have been dxed with MS for just over 3 years. I had an intial MRI, CT, the dye the whole works. I have since had maybe one MRI, with no dye, and I think, maybe one with the dye. However, I know it has been more than a year since either of them was done. I have noticed lately that the pains in the left side of my head and face have come back, Along with massive fatigue and muscle tightness in my legs and buttocks. Today I noticed that my left cheek feels extremely hot and looking in the mirror it is red. Can this be from MS? I noticed it has happened many time but nothing really particular brings it on, and it goes away. Not sure what is going on. Anyone ever have this happen?
I see my regular doc on Tuesday, so any idea's would help! Thanks! |

Welcome to the forum DSalivenwell21.
I'm sorry about the MS and the new symptom, but I'm glad you found us. I haven't had that symptom but maybe somebody else will see your post and have some ideas. This is a great forum with lots of nice people. I hope you'll make some friends and learn some new things as well. Take care.

Hi,
I don't know if this is very hepful, as i haven't been dx'd with MS (but have some symptoms of) - but one of my feet will sometimes be red and hot while the other is cool and normal. I know 'burning' is an MS sensory symptom. I hope this helps a bit!

Most of the new symptoms you mentioned sound like MS one's, but I haven't heard of flushed skin as a symptom of MS.
Perhaps you have some sort of infection, and if so, that would explain your MS symptoms flaring up too. I would go see my GP about the cheek redness, and mention the attack symptoms that are going on at the same time. Cherie
