I was diagnosed with MS yesterday. My neuro wants me to start on Rebif. I don't know what to do. Could some of you tell me what your experience has been?

When I was first dx'ed with MS, I used Rebif. All the DMD's are fine, it just depends on you and your doctor and the people here who love their way of treating the disease.
I only used Rebif. I had NO side effects from it. With the auto inject, it was more a mental thing than a pain from the shot. Just a minor sting of being pricked. PM me if you want more on Rebif. I will be happy to tell you my details, etc rather than post them on this thread.  PS - sorry to hear you have MS. |

Sorry for the dx...now that you definitely know what you're fighting, you have power.
I got dxd a year ago...I inject Copaxone. It took some time to mentally adjust to having this as a daily part of my routine, but it is now. Good luck...there's a wealth of info and support here!

Welcome to our exclusive club...Not..
 So sorry about your DX, but I'm glad you found us. About the DMDs. First, I'd ask your Doc, why he/she chose Rebif over the others. You should be given all the info on all of them with the choice being yours. Some praize Rebif and others hate it....the same for all of them. You may get lucky and make the right choice, for you, the first time, or you may have to switch to another. I wish you well..
