Default Limbo check in...Hello, anybody out there??

It is Wednesday, isn't it?? Where's all my fellow islanders, maaan??

Well, I guess I'll post...nothing new...just so darned depressed, I have such a difficult time digging myself out of this episode...just keep praying and hope that I get a breakthrough.

Sxs are getting a bit worse since I've been off of oral predisone for about 4.5 mos now. My trainer can't believe how stiff my legs are...

Hope everyone can get some sun and a bit of spring warmth. Take care!

OH HAPPY DAZE

Sorry, Debbie I didnt get this started this AM, but I too have been stressed to the MAX!! Sorry you are so depressed with so many symptoms.

Having bad spasticity?

Hey...where is BRAIN!! A BIG shout out to Cathy~!!!

I am having a stress attack with my job in jeopardy. I have involved the CEO and head of HR and its involves 2 other really great folks. I am scared but what I did was write a rebuttal to what they are setting up as a way to have me let go "legally."Tomorrow I will be turning in my rebuttal. Wish me luck.

Had the EMG done, not bad and yes he says I have a mild carpal tunnel in both arms. So when I asked if he could check my legs/feet as they buzzz all the time, have spasticity ALL the time, with tingling. HE said no, I would have to see my MS Neuro first and have him order it. WHAT?

First he tells me, no you do not have MS, i have sleep apnea and will work on DX the narcolepsy with cataplexy. Now he wants me to see the MS neuro.

Too many co-pays....cannot afford this all.

HUGS to all ~!!!

Jan

Hi Fellow Limbo'ers

I hope you're all doing well, under the circumstances.

I got out of bed this morning and started wobbling around like I was drunk. Not sure what is up with that, but it continued all day. I'm wondering if it's not the extra 10 mg. of baclofen I'm taking, though I've increased to 50 mg. several times and it never caused this.

I have a brain MRI scheduled for Friday. I'm sure it will be negative once again. I'm getting quite a collection of MRI CDs, but the NP at my neurologist's office said that if this one is normal too, she doesn't see the point of doing any further MRIs. I guess if that's the case, there won't be any need to see her or the neurologist again. Oh well. Maybe my PCP can manage my symptoms.

Have a great week, everyone. Enjoy this beautiful spring we've been having. It'll be all too hot before we know it.

Big hugs,

Lisa

Sorry I didn't even get checked in yesterday! I'm trying to get stuff ready for DGD's birthday party - she's 2!

Lotta other stuff going on too.

Still trying to get that screenplay done for that contest. Almost there. Still waiting for the editor to send back my story for my approval and let my know whan they're going to publish it. I'll keep you all posted what month it goes into print. And I have other stries I need to work on to send him - haven't even had a chance to look at them yet.

All that siiting with the laptop is making my arms tired, lol.

But the good weather makes me feel a lot better.

I did get out a few days and clean up some flower beds, move a few plants around. Getting ready to put in the veggies.

Debbie - I'm sorry this is dragging on so long for you. It's hard to know when to push through it, and when to go easy on yourself. go with your instincts I guess, because you seem to me to be pretty in tune. But don't knock yourself out, okay? Chill when you need to, and know we're rroting for you.

Jan - Have you tried magnesium for that buzzing? I mean I know you want to know why you have it but I too got sick if paying for the tests and not getting answers. Took some mag and got rid of the sx instead. Lol. I don't know why it worked, but it did. If I couldn't get answers, at least I could get relief, you know?

Still keeping my fingers crossed about that job, too. Things will work out.

Sarah - Congrats, bosslady!

Shashi - I would probably keep the neuro if he's any good. Not too many PCPs I would count on to treat neuro sx. tHey are not up on any of the meds and few of the tests. YOU could tell 99% of them a thing or two, and you know it.

Sooner or later, something is going to come out in the wash - maybe not ms, but something. You could get a full genetic work up. Get more blood work. Try this from another perspective. Just some ideas.

I'll make margaritas when we send your butt off limbo island, girlfriend.

Okay, I gotta get off my butt and get this house clean for a party. Blech! No, not blech on the party, blech on the cleaning lol.
