I am changing insurance companies since my DH decided to retire and my new one will not cover my Clonazepam, not on their formulary! So my neuro switched me to Baclofen. I was taking it for extreme movement in almost my whole body at night. I just couldn't stop moving!!!!! So last night I took my first one. The dose was 10 mg 1 -2 tabs. Since I took 1 1/2 tabs of Clonazepam I started out at just one tablet.I tossed and turned for hours. So since this is going to be a busy week with holiday and family coming in and MIL very sick my DH convinced me to try the Baclofen next week and just stick with what I know works.

I use the clonazepam with baclofen at night. I take 1 whole clonazepam and 4 of the 10 mg baclofen. I never had the movement problem, but the spasticity is so bad that I would wake up every hour or so with my muscles in spasm until the doc added the clonazepam. It seems like it really enhanced the baclofen.
Honestly, I'm not sure if baclofen will work for the movements, but I guess it is worth a try when you have down time and can afford to have a bad night or two. Otherwise, I'd just go buy the clonazepam retail since it's so cheap.

I just use one 10mg Baclofen at night to keep from getting a charley horse that seems to make my leg try to kick me in the butt with my heel.
I tried to back off on taking that one Baclofen/day a few weeks ago, tried to back off by breaking the pills in half, instead of stopping cold, and a day after quitting...boom! My right leg was trying to kick me in the butt that night. Oh, and a new thing the other day...I had a charley horse in my arm! Never had that before. ahh...the joys of MS. (when I say "joys", I really mean the "suckiness")

Update. This week I am using my usual dose of Clonazepam and sleeping well but I have my wonderfully active two granddaughters here to tire me out! They leave tomorrow morning after we go for our favorite breakfast at McDonalds. So I will retry I think on Monday night. I have to be rested for Monday 'cause we take his Mom out for lunch on Mondays.

some insurance companies will order stuff OFF forumlary, if prompted by your MD. Can you call and ask what their proceedure is for getting OFF forumalary meds? then set your MD office on them. There should be no need for you to suffer because of rules. sheesh! dont ya hate that?
