I will have moments that I feel my whole body tense up, and I wonder if it will stop. it normally does long before I reach the lock up phase. Somedays I feel clenched down, and locked up. I find that muscle relaxers help.

I hope you feel better.

The only times that happened to me, was an anxiety attack. As soon as I relaxed, it stopped. When the Doc put me on Buspar, then Paxil, they stopped. Haven't had one since.

Hi Beth! I've had them. I don't get them that often and they always happen during the night from the jaw/neck down to the toes. Once the rock hard stiffening eases up, it is sore and takes a while for everything to relax enough to go back to sleep. I sometimes will take another Neurontin when this happens and it seems to help.

I hope you are feeling better. You definitely are not alone on this one.
