Thanks, River. I don't worry about my future....I just think I'm miffed, that, after planning for it for all those working years, it's not what I expected.

MS and other mundane things, like death, rained on my dam parade.

I'm OK. I'm pretty much doing what pleases me now. I just wish I was still out running around with DH, terrorizing our loved ones and neighbors..LOL!

When I saw the title of this thread I thought that the soap opera "One Day at a Time" had something on it about MS or one of the characters had MS. (That is a soap opera, right? or am I thinking Days of Our Lives).

I can't add much more that what has already been said. But sending big cyber's and letting you know that we all appreciate you and are here for you everyday.

I used to say "WTF!"

Now I say WTF with resignation and a shrug of the shoulders.

Sally, you said everything I feel.

Actually, I don't really cuss out loud! When my teenagers would cuss I would admonish them not to cuss. We had a female dog and as my DS was walking out the door one day he said, "Bye Mom. Oh by the way, Waggles is a *****!"

sigh.

Doing what please you now is good. AND, you can still run around the neighborhood terrorizing others but in your scooter instead. We can get you a big loud horn and you can sneak/scoot up behind them and blow the horn, snap a photo, and posted it on here. Plus, DH would be smiling down on you as you did this. LOL

You and I are about the same age, Sally. All I can say is that every time I start feeling low about old age, I remember that many people aren't lucky enough to get old.

I believe that if people aren't interested in what we older folks have to give, they're missing out on something very valuable.
