After my prior neuro gave me lit. on MS drug/compound trials, one stuck in my head - estriol. I've researched all I can and bottom line is I need any of you or a friend that becomes pregnant to get a few levels checked for me and everyone else with MS. Estriol, estradiol, estrone, progesterone & testosterone. Estriol was the estrogen boosted in trial with positive results. Estradiol and progesterone can be had in pill form (birth control?) but were never mentioned in article. Everyone i've ever asked either had a doctor they couldnt stand or were affraid of needles. (sheesh) I won't ramble on about Wyeth & FDA hopping in bed and banning estriol in consumer products 2008, so PLEASE..if any of you or a friend becomes pregnant, get a few tests for me? $30 each here. I'd love levels at months 0, 6, 9 & say 6 months after birth. Just estriol's fine. The others are a bonus. Cancer/breast cancer risk? I don't know. MS isn't so good either.
