The the neuros who specialize in MS are pretty limited in Utah. (There are 3).
But there's a new Doc on the block: Dr. Laura Schlagel, who moved to southern Utah from Illinois. The Clinic said she specializes in MS. The doctor I saw there 2 years ago didn't believe in Tysabri and wouldn't Rx low-dose Naltrexone (which I now take). The receptionist said this doc will Rx Tysabri, but wasn't sure about the LDN. Am I being cynical if I say it all boils down to the $$$$ to be made? I have an appt. next Tuesday. I haven't had MRIs in 2 years, (I'm bad, aren't I?) so will be interested to see if things have changed. My sx are progressing slowly, but steadily, despite the nearly 2 years of LDN. Okay, just had to share the astonishing news! Does anyone here from IL know anything about her? Thanks!
