I recently got fitted for an AFO and I'm supposed to wear it daily for increasing amounts of time to get used to it, but it hurts.
I've already had it adjusted twice but was sent home to "wear it in". My next appointment isn't for 3 weeks but I have some questions to others with an AFO. *If they're uncomfortable to start with, do you get used to them? *If they hurt, do they stop hurting when you get used to wearing them, or is there something wrong with the one I have? *If I can't wear it are there other options available to me?
