Default anyone else's hands go numb when they do dishes?

AAAARRRRGGGGH!! My dishwasher stopped using water for some reason mid cycle so it baked everything onto the load of dishes ; including the dish detergent. I had to soak all of them for half an hour before i could scrub it off.

I don't mind doing dishes, I don't enjoy it, but it has to be done. Problem is... after about 20 minutes in the hot water both of my hands are numb.

Ever feel like you have this mountain to climb but the rope is only long enough to reach the bottom of the hill?

And I have an 8 hour trip tomorrow to go pick up DH2B's DD. By myself... to North Carolina and back. I can only imagine what I will be posting on Sunday!

My feet go numb when I'm sitting in the car and the heater is blasting on them. Does that count?

My feet go numb in the car when the A/C is blasting on them. Or winter cold. As soon as I move around or walk they get warmer and work.

For dishes I use a brush on a long stick so that I don't have to touch the water at all and I wear heavy kitchen rubber gloves or my hands look like dried out prunes.

I have a dishwasher (hubby) lol. I can't stand anything that involves heat. When I blow dry my hair, I have to use cool setting, I use warm setting and I am weak as a cat for several hours. I always loved really warm showers but thats out now also.
