Dej what was/is the problem/symptoms? And can you post what was checked with results/levels? Im no Dr but love to hear bloodwork #'s to make note of. I have a colostomy. Can see the hole & ostomy barrier in my PET scan pic. Also how ive been sliced down the belly 2x. 1 for spleen rupture, 1 for idiot surgeon that created colostomy non laparoscopic.

Everyone please allways get bloodwork copies not "I was low or high"!
Hope you find and FIX the problem Dej. Good luck.

my blood work flucuates all over the place. My amalyaze got to 900 then back to 50 then back to 500. My lipase goes from 29 to 290 then back to the middle. My billiruben keeps jumping and then going back to normal. No one can figure it out. I have belly pain that is over the lower ridge of my liver, and pancreas. My stomach works today, and then completely stops tomorrow. Today I can eat, tomorrow I am throwing up. its bizarre.

I am being really careful. Keeping records, and seeking 3rd and 4th opinions. I am not letting anyone get scalpel happy with me.

Sorry. Only thing I know about pancrease is it produces insulin therefore people with pancreatic cancer probably have a problem with glucose/diabetes. Said you cant have CT dye, is PET dye the same? I don't know (thankfully) what bloodwork checks cancer but I imagine you've been tested.

A excellent laparoscopic surgeon is in NY and Monday I have to ask if I can email a pic of my CT cause I see a quarter size mark on my large accending? colon but anyway..do NOT have anyone cut you to take a look. Im not. Im hoping he can make 3 tiny holes and blow my belly up with air and take a look that way if needed. How bout you do that?

I have ZERO plans to let someone take a "peek" unless they can prove to me its quite nessecary. I have had several surgeries on my tummy in the past and have alot of scar tissue, and many surgeons tell me how messed up that scar tissue would make things. They would not be able to do a peek hole surgery, they would need a big girl cut.so, till then...i say NO!

the pancreas is a great organ, but unlike the liver, it cant be replaced. The liver can be 70% gone and still work without you showing signs of distress. The liver can be replaced. The pancreas cant.

btw, I dont have diabetes, but show many weird things that happen only to diabetics. like the stomach stopping, and things like that. My blood sugars were monitored for a month solid and A1C was done. I am great in that department.

Thanks for all the advice. I promise I am not being rushed thru anything. I am making them explain themselves tome.
