I think I first noticed minor memory problems back in 2001. (5yrs before I knew I had MS)

I worked at WalMart. They used to hang the schedules on the wall, high up and in tiny print. I'd write my schedule down, and then it would suddenly change. I still suspect that management was changing the schedule after it was posted, because I was the only person having problems getting their schedule wrong. I have no way of really knowing if it was my fault, or managements. (I tend to blame WM management, because other people were having the same problem)

I remember a couple of times one week while I was still working for WM, where I forgot to wash my hair when I took a shower. I'd get up, take a shower, and wash my hair and go to work. There were a couple of days in one week where my hair felt weird...and I couldnt remember ever washing it those days. I'd taken a shower, but I had absolutely no memory of putting shampoo in my hair those days. That place just stressed me out.

Annoying, but a minor problem.

Now I forget to call people for my dad. Last week, I was supposed to call Orkin to spray for mosquitoes for the Fourth. I didnt remember until thursday afternoon...too late for them to come to our house before the Fourth. He came today. Which, at least will help for awhile now. We still sit outside.

The other night just threw me a bit...I just could not remember if I took anything. At least the pharmacist said I wouldnt hurt myself taking any extra as long as I didnt go over a certain dosage.

I really hope these recent memory problems are just from the flare I'm still in, and that it goes away once the flare ends. (tell this flare to end soon!) I think the memory problem scares me just as much as any other weird MS symptom. Makes me think of my grandmother who had Alzheimer's.
