Default I about lost it today

I had my alarm set so I could go to my aquasize at the Y. It went off and since I still felt exhausted and my legs hurt I stayed in bed. I'm missing the Y tomorrow since the grand kids are coming in. So we were at the grocery store, I couldn't make any decisions about what to buy. We went to the self check out and I couldn't get it to work and then we went out in the exhausting heat. Since my DH retired we mainly drive his car and now I don't drive my van which has my remote start. So when I got out in the car I just lost it. I don't think I have ever verbalized to my DH how I sometimes feel. I hate it that I no longer have total control over my body. Some days it's not even 50%. I am only 60 years old and planned on working until 65 as an RN making a difference in peoples lives, teaching patients, families, students and fellow RNs. I don't know how this weekend will go with my oldest grand daughters b'day party. I want my life back, I want me back.

I'm right there with you (((((Doydie)))))!!! It's said that things happen for a reason -- well, I sure can't see what purpose it's serving for me to have to be housebound in a "chair" for the rest of my life. I'm sure you all feel the same!

You struck a nerve with lots of us, sweetie. I could have changed a couple of words here and there, and made it my own post. It's one thing to "accept" what life brings, and another to like it. Sometimes it just bubbles over when you least expect it.

Hope today is going better. Hugs & prayers...

Sometimes we just have to let it out or we'll explode! I understand how your feel.
