What Dej said, but listen to your neuro, tell them what you've had symptom-wise, and then listen to their recommendation for treatment.
IF they say "Solu-Medrol" or a course of oral steroids, go with the neuro's suggestion at this point if you feel this is the best for you. If you're unhappy with your neuro's advice for your treatment, you need to let them know.
