Crazy Feel Extremely Sick Today

Woke up so nauseated could not eat or drink anything. Had to drive to doctor appt across town. Not sure how I managed that due to severe dizziness. Felt like I was going to vomit at any time. Luckily I didn't. Made it home need to run errands but none of it will get done today. Have been on couch for a long time. Need to get back to couch. Feel just horrid. Want to crawl in a cave like a bear and hibernate!

Try not to drive when you're dizzy. Not a good thing to endanger yourself and everyone else on the road.

and this is the pot calling the kettle black, because I've DWD'd (Driven While Dizzy) before too.

What did the doctor say when you told him of these symptoms? And of all the other symptoms you've had?

I hate it when I get the dizzies while driving. All the movement just makes it worse. Plus the nauseous feeling that goes with it doesn't help, either. I hope you're feeling better.

Are you sure it's not a UTI? I'd have a culture done, if I were you.

I'm trying to figure this all out. YOU AREN'T ALONE! The whole driving while dizzy is not good...hoping you stay safe.

Normally I try to not drive absolutely anywhere on a normal daily basis if I absolutely have to anymore; period. Even to get my meds at the pharmacy.

Tonight I literally was so light headed and nauseated I almost blacked out. Been on couch the entire day. Something just is not right. Not able to eat meat- too hard to swallow. Soft foods and after eating felt like I was going to puke. Just want to avoid eating anything. Does not seem like the flu- head feels extremely funny. Vision was really weird again today. What on earth is going on?

Doctors: Sending me to have a neurological exam. Have any of you had this before?

So sorry to hear you've been feeling so lousy. The year I was diagnosed, I had my first attack of the dizzies and was unable to drive. My daughter and I were on our way to the county fair and thankfully she had her driver's license since I was literally unable to drive. The nausea was horrible so riding in the car made it worse. After arriving at the fair, I kept a bench warm most of the day and could hardly open my eyes.

These episodes have happened a few more times over the years. That horrible feeling in the head gradually goes away. I hope you'll be feeling better soon and get some answers!

It isn't fun when you don't feel safe to drive. Today I woke up feeling good but now I'm starting to feel the yucks. YEAH! well, not really.

Why does this happen? Can't we go a day without it from not wandering into our lives? Does it ever go away? Ever?

i'm sorry you're feeling so bad.
i'd call your dr back and see if he can give you anything to at least help the sx's until you have your other appts.

try to eat small amts of bland foods, even baby food like the fruits.
and try, try, try to stay hydrated. being dehydrated can make dizzy sx's even worse.

please let us know how you are.
