I had the same reaction........WHY are they spending research money on something like this? It's like reporting that wearing a coat in winter tends to make you feel warmer.

Cool! Proof!

I told my neuro that my MS is seasonal (that I have certain symptoms at certain times of the year) and he told me that was bullpoo...now I have something to show him that says it's true!

The study is from nearly 20 years ago and only had 44 people participating. I'm unimpressed.

Uh, DUH? I get frustrated at how they "approach" MS. It's like running in place.

I'm gonna run my own informal study.

Vote:
__MS sucks
__MS doesn't suck.

I wager the outcome will be MS sucks. This study cost $ 000000.00

One of the best studies ever was when Penn DOT paid something like $150,000 to someone to do a study of traffic problems on the Parkway West. The study concluded that there need to be more lanes. Heck, I could have told them that and only charged $50,000!

My vote is that it <really BAD swear word> SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom was recently showing me this t-shirt she wants to get. It said "I (heart) MS!". (it was in her Mississippi magazine)

I looked at the advertisement and was immediately insulted and irritated. (I hate MS, and I also dont really care for the state of Mississippi...no offense to anyone from there) When I first saw the t-shirt, I knew she was reading her Mississippi magazine, but the first thing I thought when I saw the abbreviation on the t-shirt was "multiple sclerosis". Second thing I thought of was "Microsoft" (something else I dont really care for either)

My dad wants me to write a letter to the magazine and tell them how offended I am. I dont know if I should. I just know I really hate MS.

LOL< maybe I should tell my old neuro this... as when I had tracked how I felt due to humidity and seasons... he said... well this can not be MS then... symptoms of MS do not come and go due to humidity!! (still undx but I have to laugh at some neuros that think they know all)
