The Canadian government announced last week it will not fund clinical trials of the new multiple sclerosis treatment taking the world by storm.

Not surprising. Even the Canadian government is in cahoots with big pharma. They don't want to find a solution that might take $$ out of their own pockets.

On FaceBook I see stories about Canadian residents fighting with parliment all the time. They are really angry! Many are demanding that CCSVI treatment become available and paid for NOW! I know many folks see this CCSVI and see instant cure, but I for one am more cautious. I think we need reliable trials, educated results, and then some proven techniques that are not allowing stents to rip thru brain stems or wander into folks hearts after coming loose. I am so hopeful, but also so worried.

I can completely understand the passion, but I am hoping that more proof comes up the line before we start risking our most fragile human friends as bait for money makers.

I HATE big pharma, and they should be quite afraid if this turns out to be half as good as we think it may be. I just hope these clinical trials are held to a high standard.
