After two hours sleep, miracle of miracles, I actually made it to the dentist at 10:45 am!!! Of course it was really difficult and painful getting there, especially so since rain was on the way. We went in and the waiting room was packed! Only one empty chair for my DIL. Checked in and waited....two hours. When I finally got in "the room" an X-ray was taken......root canal, post and crown needed. By that time the dentist was already late for his appointment (golf tournament) and couldn't fix my tooth today after all since it will take about two hours. So........back again Monday around noon. CAN I SCREAM NOW?!?! This time my two friends who help me out will be available to take me. I know it's not very nice, but my DIL and I were so happy when it started to rain on the way home. No golf today!!!!

I did have a really good time with Naomi (DIL) and on the way home, we swung through Dunkin' Donuts Drive-thru for a couple flatbread melts and two coffees. Didn't dare have any liquids earlier -- bladder problems. My son really chose a winner when he picked her for his wife! They live a little over an hour away from here too. Anyway, maybe we can try this whole thing over again on Monday!

Thank you all soooooo much for your kind thoughts, hugs and prayers!!! You're the greatest!

CG: You asked about my heart concerns. I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse while in my 20's. Wore the Holter Monitor, echocardiograms, the whole nine yards. Been on beta-blockers ever since but about 1-1/2 years ago I had an incidence of atrial fibrillation while a visiting nurse was here doing the IV steroid thing. Off to the hospital for three days til the heartbeat was normal again. About 10 months later, same thing. Digoxin and Warfarin were added for that. Think I remember my mother telling me I had a heart murmur as a young child, but it went away.

Judy -- I didn't actually have steroids this time, but it's the residual effect from so many times in previous years. I'm the one allergic to solumedrol so have to use Decadron instead.

Hope I didn't miss any other specific questions....foggy brain, you know. Again, thank all of you so much for your support. It surely helped me get through a tough day!!!
