I agree with everyone's comments about The Apprentice this year. It seemed almost "scripted" and predictable. Tonight's finale was the topper -- Hollywood Bowl no less. But I do wish Stephanie well, to me she seemed the best of the bunch???

So long Sanjaya!!! Bring it on Jordin!! I've always enjoyed Melinda, but in a way it doesn't seem quite fair with her being a professional even though in the background. She's had the experience and stage presence that the other's have lacked. The guys just don't cut it, for me anyway, this time around. Lakisha has a powerful voice, but seems stuck in her one genre.

The Amazing Race -- I for one hope the blondes win!! There's never been an "all girl" team winner as far as I know and they've had to do all the same stuff the others did. They haven't been afraid to ask directions either like some "other" teams -- that guy thing! Danny and Oswald went down a notch or two in my opinion tonight. Charla and Myrna just appear mean and vindictive. Now I can't remember the name of the guy in the pair that's left, just Danielle. I don't remember them from a previous race and don't know why they're so disliked. But why did they have two non-elimination segments in a row -- boring!

Has anyone watched Sheer Genius now that Top Disign is finished? It seems a little strange to me. Maybe the hairstyle/color thing just doesn't translate to TV very well.

Whew! I've never watched so much TV in my life, but it is a God-send these days now that the ms has progressed so much. Take care all!

Eric and Danielle were not a pair in their regular seaon. I'm not sure who she was on with but he was on with his best 'bud'. Since the season, they started dating.

Hi Curious,

I actually found Wedding Crashers disturbing. I felt that they made comedic a male sexual assault and that, given that his character was meant to be freaked about her advances (at least initially), I thought that for them to make it funny and made light of was very inappropriate. If the rorles were reversed and Vince Vaughn had been female and being "forced" upon like he was, it would have been outrageous. I just don't see why it shouldn't have been just as shocking and not funny because he was a man. It was almost like they were trying to imply that if a woman forces herself on a man, it's just fun and games. I just disagreed with that and it colored my whole view of the movie (that and I just thought they were both shallow and exploitative of women). I didn't like it at all and I almost walked out.

Did anyone love the play on Survivor, where they got Edgardo? hehe loved it!

I thought the Apprentice finale was just too boring. I wish Stefani well too though. The final picks just seem so random, not really based on anything solid from their past performances, just The Donald's whimsy really. I just didn't feel that they were really evaluated at the end by the Trump. His kids did a decent job of setting out their good qualities and bad qualities, but Donald's decision just seem to be arbitrary.

I actually can't wait for Big Brother. Who knows why it interests me but I do think it's fun. One of the few shows that kids and immature parents can watch together!

I do enjoy Melinda on Idol. I agree, I think the women are outshining the men in talent.

I kinda hope for Myrna and Charla to win the Amazing Race. I don't know why. Maybe having a disability, I just can empathize with them and I really appreciate how her shortness is really compensated for by her partner. I like how helpful she is. It must be grueling for them both, one by the physical challenges caused by being small and the other, for compensating and often doing far more than her share. I really wish them luck. I agree though, they can be a bit too ruthless at times.

You know, I don't admit to many people, but I must say that I do enjoy a lot of these reality shows. Ok, I'm a junkie. There, I admitted it.

oh wannabe...this was NOT the movie. but a new tv show on NBC. couples who are actually getting married...set themselves up. for their own weddings to be crashed.

they did things like have the grooms best friend take the wedding dress to get it ironed. the "crasher" pulled it out so it was hanging out the car door. the bottom got trashed. they took it to an alterations shop..also with a "crasher" who wacked off the bottom of the dress. thos ekind of things..topple over the wedding cake. the minister gets a phone call during the ceromony.

at the end of the reception...they let everyone in on the crashing.

i have never seen the movie wedding crashers. doesn't sound too good.

Hi Curious,

Yes I realized I'd put my foot in my mouth when I saw a clip from the show last night after I wrote my post.

hehe It did look like a funny show actually.

I just didn't know it existed until after I made my post! Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, that was a classic moment on Survivor when Eduardo got the boot. Alex, with his smug look on his face, walked right up there and handed the Immunity Idol to Jeff. Then his name was never written. That will improve Stacys reputation at the camp since it was her idea to all vote for him. From the commercials, I think Alex is injured this week.

I didn't watch Wedding crashers. I was watching tv when we got a call from my mother in laws nursing home that she had fallen and broken her hip so we had to go to the hospital. My husband was in the middle of IRobot.

I think I have watched a couple of seasons of Big Brother but didn't like it. But, I can't believe I'm saying this, I didn't like survivor at first. Now that Apprentice is over, Amazing Race and Survivor will be over soon, I will have to find a new one, or two, to watch.

Oh, my mother in law doesn't own the nursing home, it's where she lives. She has COPD very bad but smoked about 3-4 packs if cigs a day up until last year. Has diabetes, several small stokes and a small heart attack. Oh, renal failure on top of that. So it will be a miracle if she survives this. We are waiting for her potassium to go down to a normal level before they can operate.

So sorry to hear that Doydie. I hope she recovers... sounds like her body has gone thru alot. I will send positive thoughts to her.

I never watched Big Brother for the first few seasons myself. But I must admit that I actually enjoy it now.

I want Cowboy or however you spell his name to win. He just seems so sincere, not a particularly good game player physically or mentally, but still sincere. He's managed to keep the fact that he has the Idol between himself and that other guy, and that says something.

I dunno. I always seem to like the underdogs.

Anyone else watch the PussyCat Dolls search for a new member? I can't believe I'm enjoying it... but I am. I didn't even know who they were until I started watching it... now if that doesn't tell my age, I don't know what does.

OK!! I give up. I can't keep up with all of you Reality Show Buffs. With a few exceptions, I avoid them like the plague......But I do watch Big Brother and have, from the beginning. For some reason, I enjoy all that back-biting stuff.. ..But, If there were something better on, I wouldn't watch that, either.

I will watch A.I. tonight because "House" follows. I do enjoy it though and I'm rooting for Dolittle...she's a real talent and will go far and be remembered when all the others are long-gone and forgotten.

In the meantime, I still enjoy reading this thread.
