Hot showers are not good as they relax your muscles, etc. even more. You have to be very careful about that. I do lukewarm showers and that is fine. My muscles are relaxed already as are other peoples muscles who have NMD. Some people it doesn't bother and others have to be careful. You don't want to end up falling for example. It's also hard to feel how warm the water is at times. But it is doable.

It's the same when I soak my feet in Epsom Salt. Lukewarm water, not hot.
