Oh no! Broken toes are the worst 'cos there's really not much you can do for them but just let them heal. Hope you feel much better soon. You'll get the hang of the laptop in no time!

I'm so sorry for your fall! I hope your tootsies will heal quickly and I do hope you have some sort of cast or cover on them to avoid bumping them.

it is nice to wake up to a bunch of well wishes this morning. i needed them so thank you,

i messed the toes up badly. full cast up to my knee and mayo scheduled an orthopedic appt. for monday.

@ Judy. i fell in my toilet closet during a nighttime excursion. sometimes all the safety precautions cannot assure a fall.

That's a lot of cast for bruised and broken toes! When you fall, you don't mess around. I hope you're feeling much better soon!

Wow!! I'm so sorry. A cast like that for broken toes is rare. You have got to be in a lot of pain. Being referred to Mayo definitely means you had one heck of a fall! Ouch!!! Hope you are able to get some rest this weekend. Please take care. Hang in there!!

Hugs

Cyn, I am glad it wasn't your head, face, arm or other very delegate part of the body. Your head or face would be so injured.

So I guess the toes took the blunt of the fall. You must have really did a job on them to get a cast on the foot. I bet you broke more than your toes.

There are something like 105 bones in the foot. Think about that. I hope you can stand or still transfer with the cast.

Or are you in bed with your foot in the air on a pillow? I hope you have some good pain meds?

I have three numb toes but can't figure out how when I hit the bed frame I scream. How does numb hurt?

I got a laptop as a gift, it doesn't thrill me at all.

I hope you feel better soon, and heal real fast.

More accidents happen at home.

not a fan of dh's laptop. good for reading but not to type.

ms feet are numb so maybe it would be worse if they felt normal. orthopedist on monday morning. it is a challenge to move vertically just because ms has made my uninjured right foot weaker and less mobile!

dh travels 60% of the time. should be interesting when he leaves after my ortho appt.

we took a shower together last night so i could get nice and clean. it was heaven!!!! sometimes it is the little pleasures.

same with nt, i love an outlet to tell the details of my travail. poet and don't know it,

I hate that you fell. I've had broken toes and they are not fun! I never broke them so bad I had to get a cast though! Hope they heal without the ortho saying surgery. :-(

Jim runs around in his chair and scrapes his toes all the time. He doesn't even know it until I alert him to the blood trail. But, like mentioned earlier, if he so much as bangs them, he feels it! Weird.
