Default OT, silly question

My husband bought me one of those soothing water fountains you put on a table. What kind of water is best to put in it. It just says clean. But do I need distilled and if so how do you make it. Can I just boil water and keep it refrigerated?

Hi doydie!

Have you figured out which type water is best for your fountain? I use distilled water for mine which came in a regular gallon jug from the grocery store. It was in the same area as the other bottled waters. Those fountains are pretty cool!

Did you see AI last night? So far the men just haven't impressed me. Seems like quite a few of them all sound alike. We'll see what happens with the ladies this week.

Take care.

Oh yes --- hope you're able to make your "journey" this weekend. More snow here later this week but so far the weekend sounds okay. Have fun enjoying those special little ones!!!

I bought a gallon of distilled water when I bought the fountain but i want to be able to make it if it's cheaper than buying it. I paid $.99 for what they call purified water.

hi doydie

i have a pond with a fountain inside my house. ( i'll try and post a picture tomorrow.)plus i have had a small table top like you have. regular water works fine.

the water will evaporate, so watch the level. if you let it sit not turned on, you might want to dump out any stangnant water and replace it.

a few times a year check the rubber hoose. if it is gunky, just rinse with bleach water.

i love the sound of the fountain. i hope you enjoy yours.
