Celexa- yes.
I have taken it for years. No weight gain no bad effects. When I got super depressed they upped the dose without a problem. My only recommendation is to start a lesser dose and slowly work up.My first foray with an AD was frightful as they started me full dose! |

Yeah!!!! I'm so glad your dr. listened to you. That is awesome!
I am on Celexa (generic) 10 mg. (lowest dose). It seems to work well for me. I was on Paxil previously and ended up with a flat affect from it. Once I started the Celexa, I got my personality back. I did not notice any significant side effects. I started at 20 mg which made me a little too high strung so the dr. lowered my dosage. I have been on the 10 mg dose for a few years now. Again, I am so, so happy for you that you found someone who would listen to you. I hope this works for you and wish you luck! Let us know how you are doing. |
