Read a study on MS and Milk and it seems that several are trying to link the higher consumption of milk products with the prevalance of MS.
http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...is.html?cat=70 now I am the only one in my family with MS, and I am the only milk drinker. I have been told years ago to give up milk, but I love it so. I am not sure I could give it up. Is anyone else a diary lover? milk, cheese, butter, yogurts, cottage cheese??? I simply would shrivel up and waste away without milk or milk products. MOOO!

I hate milk but love ice cream, cheese, yogurt.....
Ice cream doesn't like me, though. It tears up my tummy.

I have MS. I never drink milk, hate yogurt, ice cream and cheese only occasionally. Who knows. I am not lactose intolerant either. Just not into dairy.

i don't drink milk at all, just don't like any products contains milk, once in a while i can eat yogurt and have ms for 20 years. I think this theory about gluten free diet and lactose intolerance in ms patients is just imagination of sick people or msers who needs to find some good theory why they have it.

I've never been a milk drinker, unless it was chocolate.
When I was a kid, my mom didnt buy milk. She bought powdered milk (why I dont know) and that stuff was so watered down, it was gross. The only time I drank real milk was at school, and I didnt like that either unless it was chocolate, and we could only get chocolate milk on fridays for some reason. I just didnt drink anything at lunch since they didnt provide us with anything else. I love ice cream tho, just dont eat it that often.

Never liked milk, even as a kid, but Mom made me drink it.
I'm with Stan, we're just looking for something to blame for MS. I think Chocolate causes it.. ![]()

I Love milk, although some people don't consider skim as 'real milk' (DH). I grew up on skim and for a treat my mom would get 2% to use on our cereal. I still get a 1/2 gallon of it every so often but typically I stick to skim. I read something about milk and ms too and I have cut down, but like Dej, I will never fully give it up unless there is concrete proof...but then again, probably not!

When I was six weeks old my parents needed to travel to move with work. The MD had a complete breakdown and demanded that my mom NOT feed me cows milk as I could quickly get an allergy. She said being on the road, travel from RI to FL was horrible enough without having to find sterilizers for formula (guess I wasnt breast fed, huh?) so she would just put cows milk in my bottle and promised the MD that if anything odd happened they would find an ER. ME? I sucked it all up! LOVE LOVE LOVE my milk.
Ice cream, cheese, butter, anything dairy makes me happy ![]()
