I got a speaker kit to go on the handle bars that will allow me to plug in my IPOD, and I got a light, and a brake light. I got a satchel that attaches to the basket so I can put in little things like sunglasses or my wallet without it bouncing around. it has a lock pad on it. I also got a pick proof, drill proof lock. Got to the front of the store, and DH whipped out coupons! it is in his fav sporting goods store, and I am always sticking coupons at him when I find them. it shaved a good 40% off my purchase. I got an ipod holder that will attach to the bike or my arm if I choose. Im already decorating the thing and it hasnt arrived yet!

I really have missed being outside.

You are too cute! I'm glad you are getting excited about all of this. Did you get a bell too? Or a horn?

I do hope you enjoy your new trike. Once you get it, you'll have to let us know how it goes.

i have not found a bell I like yet. the only one I saw was the typical pull and when you release it dings. it was a hard lever to pull. perhaps I will find a horn or something later.

I just got the notice that it shipped this morning, and I can expect it between 4/22 and 4/27 to arrive. Shipping was only $2.97 not bad! im ready! come on bike! I really do miss being able to be outdoors with everyone else. nothing makes you feel more crippled than others running circles around you.

$2.97 for shipping a bike!! that's a great price! It wont buy the delivery truck even a gallon of gas tho. Good timing on buying the bike. I bet Walmart will be upping the costs for shipping soon.

Well, the Thunderstorms and other tornado watches and so on have delayed the trike. FedEx said it "may" be here tomorrow. Im sorry folks are having bad weather, but I want my bike! Oh well, its a running joke at this point. Maybe tomorrow. At least I can stop looking out the window for it today.

Im ready! I have all the toys to attach to it. You know it has to be assembled when it gets here. watch what a baby I become while DH tries to scrape his knuckles on the fenders! HA!

We want a video of you and your first ride on this trike! Hey, maybe MIL can have a ride on it, too.

I know how you feel on waiting for something to be delivered.

Hopefully your bike gets to you soon and you can start racing little kids on their Schwinns.
