Default fell on the cat. eeek!

I was trying to sort out the stuff that has been shoved into the front closet (stares at DH) and I cant even pull out the vacuum because its all rammed in there. The cats want their toys! boxes, and strings to play with. in the middle of all that cog fog, and the spining head set in, and round and round my world went and then...my legs left me. I was able to push myself in a new direction away from the glass shelves that hold the TV and towards the LR, but Lily was also in the way and got trapped by the cat toy box. BOOM! Took me an hour to be able to examine her to see if she was hurt. She was walking so I knew she wasnt too badly damaged, but scared of me. She has a bruised hip, and a bruised tail. I have a sore wrist, and bruised hip with a broken pride bone.

DH jumped up SCREAMING! that is why I hide everything in the closet! this is the exact reason why! I snapped back that if he had not hidden all of the cat toys I would have NO reason to have to dig for the babies stuff. LEAVE IT OUT! Who gives a crap if we have cat toys in their corner?! So, im fine, but the pride got bruised. eeek!

Dej, that is my biggest fear......falling on one of my cats. I have to watch so closely that they don't dart in front of me and then stop! Or run in between my feet. It can be mentally exhausting having to watch so closely all the time. But I don't want to think what would happen if I fell full force on one of them.

I hope Lilly feels better soon. I hate it when my cats look at me with fear....like after I accidentally step on their toes or walk right into them. Like a dummy I try to explain that I didn't mean to but they just look at me with those huge eyes. Makes me feel terrible.

She knows you didn't mean to do it....she'll come around. Tell DH that all the cat lovers here are not happy with him!

your cat understands I promise! Those feline friends of ours have that extra sense, she knows you didn't mean to do so! I have done the same to my boyfriend's cat. He looked pretty scared of me as well, he was genuinely trying to get out of my way but the 'zombie wobbles threw him off and he couldn't tell what direction to run for, lol, poor guy.

I say our feline friends understand because the same cat always comes to find me when im feeling my worst. Its like a radar to him, he climbs up on the bed and cuddles me as close as he can.

Don't let your pride be bruised by this. Your kitty will always be by your side no matter how many times you fall on them, step on them, or try petting their head and you perception is so far off you give them a good whack in the nose/face area (I had to start petting jinx with my left hand because I could never get my right hand to gently pet him and he looked terrified everytime id go to pet him)
Lol. They're our buddies and will ALWAYS be there for us =)

Default Skittles and Spooky

Don't worry they will always love you, until you bathe them

I have two needy kitties Spooky and Skittles. getting under my feet is something they enjoy doing. I've kicked them and tripped quite a few times but they still love me

Jack needed injections the last two days, and it seems last night Lily forgot all about me squashing her, and is only interested in play since I dragged out some long forgotten toys. I have been forgiven.

It was one of my greatest fears with children, and animals to drop when I was holding one. or squash one on my way down.

I am dotted with bruises, but nothing dramatic. Its all better...till the next time.
