I had similar sx for about 18 months. Finally went to a gastroenterolgist and was dx w/Gastroparesis, or slow digestion. My stomach takes longer than normal to digest, causing the nausea and the weird hunger pains. It caused me to lose a lot of weight, but my gastro got me on Domperidone. You can't get the drug in the US, I get mine from Canada. I have been amazed at its effectiveness, I gained my weight back (slowly) and now I have to drop a few pounds.

Have you had any tests done to get to the cause of your nausea and dry heaves?
